Education Programs
The Informativity Institute™ advances public understanding of foundational physics by sharing research and the reasoning behind it. Our current educational work centers on published papers, research preprints, and online explanations of Measurement Quantization (MQ), a framework that expresses physical phenomena through counts of fundamental measures.
These resources support self-directed study by interested members of the public, students, educators, and researchers. Our purpose is to make the research accessible for examination, encourage informed questions, and help readers form their own conclusions.
Learning through research
Our published papers provide the formal research record. Our preprints make developing analyses available for study and scientific discussion. Readers should consult each work’s publication and revision information when assessing its status.
The Institute’s website complements these sources with explanations, derivations, and discussions of physical measurement, fundamental constants, gravitation, and cosmology. Readers can explore the historical context and examine predictions and their test conditions alongside the underlying research. Figure 1 offers a starting sequence for using these resources.
Experimental collaboration
We are seeking collaborators for our revised experimental proposal concerning gravitational measurements at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM). This Institute-led effort invites critical examination of the proposed method and its ability to distinguish the effects under investigation.
Researchers and laboratories with relevant experience in precision measurement, experimental design, calibration, uncertainty analysis, or optical readout are invited to examine the planned experiment and its current qualifications. Prospective collaborators can contact the Institute to discuss scientific contributions and practical requirements.
A video series is planned
We look forward to extending these resources through a public video series. The planned series will introduce the research and guide viewers toward the supporting papers and technical explanations. It is a forthcoming part of our educational work.
Education for public benefit
Our educational purpose is served by communicating scientific work, making its methods available for scrutiny, and encouraging independent evaluation. Through research publications, explanatory resources, and opportunities for scientific collaboration, we aim to deepen understanding of physical measurement and the process by which scientific ideas are developed and tested.
To begin, explore our research publications or get in touch with a question about the materials or a potential collaboration.
