Coulomb coupling closes the same MQ electromagnetic calculation

The electrostatic coupling is another linked output of the same permittivity construction.

· Recorded source version · Retrospective release

CHICAGO — The MQ constants manuscript computes Coulomb’s constant from its electric constant through the conventional reciprocal relationship containing four pi. Coulomb’s constant supplies the proportionality in the electrostatic force between two point charges. Its derivation is downstream of the charge-based permittivity construction.

Figure 1 summarizes the source result and its evidentiary scope.

One dependent family of calculated constants

Figure 1. Source-based summary of the construction and its stated limits. The panels organize the cited facts; they are not an additional physical derivation or a new observation.

The resulting electric, magnetic, and Coulomb quantities form an algebraically linked family. They inherit a common calibration and cannot be counted as three statistically independent confirmations merely because they have different units and appear in different physical expressions.

The linked calculation provides a useful internal requirement. Incompatible numerical inputs or a lost unit factor would prevent the family from closing consistently. Passing that requirement establishes consistency under the specified relations, while leaving the physical origin assigned by MQ open to further testing.

The October source documents this dependency rather than a new electrostatic-force experiment. Reporting the result accurately requires the shared uncertainty chain, the adopted realization parameter, and the distinction between a derived constant and a separately measured quantity. Those conditions preserve the substantive algebra without overstating its empirical independence.
