MQ identifies a fixed interaction count in its electromagnetic construction

The Fine Structure demarcation organizes a shared count geometry rather than a universal laboratory separation.

CHICAGO — The current Measurement Quantization electromagnetic construction uses a fixed, dimensionless interaction count near 84.60054567. The Fine Structure demarcation specifies where the stated count realization is evaluated. It is not an assertion that every electromagnetic event occurs at one ordinary laboratory distance, wavelength or energy.

The associated nearest-whole-unit operation supplies an integer marker of 42 from half the count, which is about 42.30027284. The noninteger demarcation and this integer marker play different roles. Figure 1 distinguishes the calibrated count, its realization and the mathematical marker.

The coefficient is determined by inversion of the measured fine-structure input under the specified MQ count constraint and realization relations. Recovering that input through the same equations is calibration closure. It does not independently predict the constant used to determine the coefficient.

Blackbody, charge-coupling and historical elementary-charge routes provide related count constructions. In the current manuscript’s coherent shared calibration, their count solutions coincide algebraically. Their agreement checks consistency of the adopted relations; it is not three independent laboratory determinations of one boundary.

The public introductory graphic also preserves a separately supplied numerical profile in which the three demarcation estimates are distinct. Its absolute uncertainty labels do not specify a coverage convention. The companion Brief records that profile separately from the manuscript’s conditional standard-uncertainty result, rather than mixing their digits or error budgets.

The physical interpretation remains a framework claim. A realized separation can be expressed using the fundamental length reference, but the count does not define a universal spacing between charges or an allowed fractional primitive configuration. It is also distinct from a conventional quantum-electrodynamic renormalization scale.

The Brief supplies the governing equations, stable residual calculation, calibration example and rounding graphic. It identifies the shared inputs and the evidence an independently measured consequence would need. The archive’s April 18, 2020 label is retained as a label only; it is not assigned as the completion date of the later source manuscript.
