Published MQ review brings foundational arguments into one research reference

The 70-page article provides a consolidated starting point for evaluating the measurement framework.

· Journal publication milestone · Retrospective release

CHICAGO — Jody A. Geiger’s Measurement quantization was published on January 25, 2023 in the International Journal of Geometric Methods in Modern Physics. The 70-page article appears in volume 20, issue 4, as article 2350069, with DOI 10.1142/S021988782350069X. It consolidates the program’s measurement arguments and applications in an identifiable, open-access research reference.

The article develops a description that separates fundamental reference measures from counts and then applies their proposed relationships to physical constants, relativity, gravitation and cosmology. Its appendices provide a route from the main argument to particular equations and numerical comparisons. Figure 1 identifies three different tasks for readers evaluating that record.

Figure 1. A reading guide to the publication, not a scoring system for the theory. Several outputs can share one underlying calibration or source assumption.

A central value of the consolidated paper is traceability. A numerical result can be examined together with the reference definitions and substitutions that produce it. Agreement among several outputs that share a measured input does not automatically create several independent confirmations.

One example is the exact right-triangle count relation discussed under the Informativity differential. The companion Brief works through its residual, normalization factor and finite-count departure. The calculation illustrates a mathematical relationship; connecting it to a physical contraction requires the additional measurement interpretation and an observable test.

Current MQ terminology identifies the Internal Frame as the discrete count-configuration domain and the System Frame as the continuous relational encoding of physical observables through the Frames mapping. These current definitions guide reporting without silently assigning later terminology or calibration to every passage of the historical paper.

Publication establishes a citable theoretical contribution. It does not certify every application, establish a fixed percentage of physics as solved or supply a single probability that MQ is correct. Algebraic closure, calculations that reuse measured inputs, external observational comparisons and prospective predictions have different evidentiary roles.

The article also provides historical context for later gravitational-constant and galaxy studies. Those later apparatus assignments, datasets and statistical analyses retain their own dates and assumptions. They should not be reported as results already completed when the 2023 article appeared.

The paper records receipt on August 16, 2022 and acceptance on October 28, 2022 before its January publication. This archive entry marks publication. The technical Brief supplies a source reading guide, exact worked example, supplement-version guidance and a framework for asking which comparisons could distinguish MQ from alternatives.

Archive date and research status

January 25, 2023 is the publication date printed on the article’s first page. It is not an established discovery or announcement date for every result in the paper. This retrospective release and its Brief were prepared or revised October 26, 2026. Later terminology, input distinctions and evidence qualifications are identified as current reporting context.

About the Informativity Institute

The Informativity Institute presents the Measurement Quantization research program and its publications. MQ investigates the relationship between discrete count structure and physical measurement. Individual results should be assessed through their stated assumptions, sources and observational tests.
