Dwarf-galaxy comparison extends MQ gravity test beyond SPARC
A 15-galaxy analysis reports an aggregate velocity ratio near unity, with substantial uncertainty and source-reconstruction limits.

CHICAGO — A Measurement Quantization analysis applies its fixed galactic realization law to 15 LITTLE THINGS dwarf galaxies outside the Spitzer Photometry and Accurate Rotation Curves (SPARC) sample. The source reports 288 radial comparisons and a galaxy-weighted geometric predicted-to-observed speed ratio of 0.9907. Its 95 percent galaxy-block bootstrap interval is 0.868–1.130.
The interval is central to the finding. The population normalization is statistically compatible with unity under the reported procedure, while individual curves retain substantial scatter. The central ratio is not a claim of one-percent accuracy at every radius, and 288 radial comparisons are not 288 independent galaxies. Figure 1 summarizes the scope of the comparison.
The baryonic reconstruction is a defining part of the test. The source reports extracting observed velocities from published figures, removing the fitted stellar contribution from the plotted Newtonian component to recover the represented gas contribution, and rebuilding the stellar term with independently supplied stellar masses inferred from spectral energy distributions (SEDs). It does not simply reuse an alternative-gravity fitted baryonic curve unchanged.
The same nominal MQ acceleration scale and response law are then held fixed. No galaxy-specific MQ parameter is fitted to the observed circular velocities. That protocol leaves the stellar and gas profiles, geometry, distance, inclination and kinematic assumptions as external astrophysical inputs with their own uncertainty.
The source reports a zero-mean-log-offset test probability of 0.895. This is not a probability that MQ is correct. The interval and the test address population normalization, while the pooled RMS and mean absolute residual of 8.69 kilometres per second describe radial scatter. Neither replaces a complete covariance-aware likelihood.
An alternate stellar-source calculation changes the reported geometric ratio from 0.9907 to 0.9655. Source effects are smaller in gas-dominated systems and larger where stars matter dynamically. This motivates the proposed follow-up using resolved stellar profiles rather than only a different integrated stellar mass.
The companion Brief supplies the selection accounting, source-reconstruction sequence, exact response equations, statistical definitions and numerical interpretation. This is a source-reported MQ comparison with an external population, not an independent replication by the LITTLE THINGS survey team.
